Alpine or Infinity Kappa's

What do you guys think, I'm uprating the front speakers to my MY00 uk classic, I've had a good look on SN to gauge an opinion on what to fit.
Most seem to mention the 605cs infinity's but i'm leaning towards the Alpine 176A's, have just fitted some Alpine coaxials in rear shelf and they sound quality already.
Not much difference in price between kappas and alpines, although kappas seem to be easier to fit.
Does anyone have any experience with either, and how easy is it to fit alpines?
I was thinking of installing tweeters behind door mirrors, have previously done this on pug 306 and sound stage is usually bang on.
Any comments would be gratefully received............

Can't argue with your location of tweeters. By your range, it seems that you like speakers that verge on the side of bright. If that's your taste, then you can't go wrong with either.

Nick, can you recommend any others makes, maybe Focals are worth looking at?
Dont want to spend silly money though, anything under £200 really.
Cheers, Jonny.

I run CDTaudio and like 'em, but others probably find their sound neutral verging on the laid back... I believe they do a kit for around 160 quid, but do try before you buy
Focals for 130 quid are hard to beat IMHO, and have had good reviews too.
