Many thanks to UHF on here, I now have a changer to install.
My car is a MY95 wagon with the standard Panasonic HU so I assume they won't be compatible. But, I can do a HU swap with my mum's MY98 which has the Philips unit, presumably that'll be easy enough to do.
What I need really is advice on how to install the changer. Will I have to buy the cable from a dealers, Philips directly, or an ICE specialist? Or, would the cable have been installed in the car (either of them!) in the factory, despite it not having a changer installed at the time.
Where is it recomended to install it in a Wagon? I was thinking under one of the seats would be most convenient as it wont get in the way. Any tips on the install process?
Cheers,
Ben
