Question

I've got a JDM head unit in my car, meaning I can only pick up radio 2

I like the look of the double DIN units, are there any UK ones around?

Cheers

J

Cool

You've always got this as an option:

Ok it's in a bugeye, not a nice new (to you) classic STi . Not quite a double DIN, but it fills the double DIN slots with ICE very nicely.

Quite happy to demo it to you at the next meet or mail me to come and have a look.

Subaru do a little pocket sold as a Forester part that converts the double din to single, just in case you wnated to stay faithful.

Medway1 has just put a single din head unit in his 02WRX. I dont know if he intends to keep it in the car when he eventually sells it, if so he might sell his factory one. He'll pass my house sometime this weekend so Ill ask him.

If he's gone past your house, you'll never catch him, hol! Thought you proved that after the last meet B.t.w, any news on this christmas meal?

Standard MY02 head unit isn't all that clever IMHO, although it is of course double DIN (and a s.h. one is likely to be cheap). Mine lasted about a week in the car (which is longer than the speakers) before I got fed up with it.

Noticed that My-Blaupunkt.com have the MP72 + In-dash CD Changer the same as Hades has fiited as a package for £389 which is the cheapest I've seen.
