anyone know if the sat nav on an import sti 7 will work in this country,do you just put in the relavent cd, do not really need to know how to get to tokyo from here in blighty!

hi mr m,i was thinking more of the actual unit that is an option in japan,i have not picked the car up yet and cannot remember the make.

I think the JDM satnav should be made by Kenwood.
I don't think u can get a UK map CD that works with the JDM system, and anyway the OS is in Japanese.
May be better to investigate whether u can fit a Euro/UK satnav unit and link it up to the OEM display/control unit.

it is a genuine subaru unit,which is probably add zest aka clarion.any other ice bods care to shed some light.

I don't think u can just put a UK map into a JDM unit, cos they use different mapping systems. The 2 may be incompatible.
