I urgently need to know where I can find those brackets that hold the ICE in place on the picture below??
I just received my double DIN unit and was wondering if these holders are available at any Subaru dealer or any car hifi shop??
If anybody has a reference/part number, I would be extremely grateful!!!

 

You should be able to use the original ones. They are normaly just screwed on to the original unit. If there wasn't or isn't an original head unit, the parts will have to come from your local Subaru dealer.

My car is a MY99 and there was no original unit with it. I currently have an older JVC cassette player and now changind to a double DIN..

So, you're saying those 4 brackets that hold the one on the picture in place have to come from Subaru?

Anyway, thanks I'll give my local dealer a call to find out.

Perhaps someone on here may have a set laying about. Anybody?????

 

Yes, somebody has a set lying around? As I'm quite desperate to get those and don't want to wait until December when I go to Japan to get these.....

Anybody let me know, I think many people remove their double DIN to put a single one....

I tried my local Subaru dealer but since these brackets are only in Australian, Japanese and US cars, it is impossible to get them here (according to my dealer).

But I already ordered them from a company (1stsubaruparts.com) in the US, that's also where I got this picture from....and should get them the next week or so
