This afternoon I had a Alpine 6 disc changer (CHA-S634) fitted in the car (MY01).
It took them half an hour(ish) to do. The longest part of the install was the debate where to put the thing.
Eventually it was decided to go for fixing to the seat, rather than fixed to the floor.
From what I saw the bolts were undone and the changer screwed into place under the seat. The thing never left the car and was just tilted back.
I remember the were questions about this earlier.
So thanks to Ian Bannings of Guildford for allowing me to be cheeky and wander in pint and sayy "I want that now", well not quite but close enough. Somehow they managed to fit me in with all their scheduled work,
The best bit is I got the Scoobynet discount!
It sounds good as well, a noticable improvement in quality over the mini discs I was using in the head unit.
