how can i fit 6x9's in the back shelf?

how can i fit 6x9's in the back shelf?
the holes to small? how do you get the covers off with out brakin them?
there the round plastic ones

I mounted mine on to 2 mdf cut outs and screwed them in through the boot. 1. it gives a great sound as the boot act as sub box. 2. No cuttin the back holes out. 3. added security as no one can see what you got dangaling.
hope this helps as its alot easyer to do and better.

Ditto.

Mine are mounted from beneath with spacers. Advantage is you can leave original inconspicuous grills in place.

Had my metal shelf troimmed to let the speakers fit and then dynamat placed to surround them.

The rear parcel shelf had holes cut into it and grill created and then recarpeted with a porus(spelling) carpet so the speakers are very well hidden.
