"All in one" Subwoofer recommendations
#1
I am looking to 'tune up' the in car entertainment by just adding a nice little sub in boot, 10" will do. I am after one with the built in Amp etc, so all I have to do is run RCA and power cables.
Can anyone recommend such a beast. Nothing too large as I still need the boot.

I'm not sure what's available there, but a good one will cost you some money.Bazooka,RF,Infinity,Pioneer and Kenwood all make amplified bass tubes...the 10" models are mad money. For that amount of cash, you could buy a 10" Pioneer sub,put it in a 2 cubic foot ported box and give it about 200 watts for that money and come out way ahead as far as bang for the buck goes...this set up would be about the same as the Infinity 10" Basslink but around $100 cheaper...and more space. But if you can afford it,I'd get the Infinity BassLink X,a 10" woofer coupled with a 10" passive radiator and a 200 watt class d amp ...very nice for a stand alone unit...the passive radiator takes the place of a larger box with a port,so it comes down to space and simplicity...

I bought a sony active sub from letsbuycaraudio.com and am really happy with it. i think it was about £130, and comes with an adjustment know that goes in the cabin to turn the sub up or down without having to p*ss about in the boot.
