Speaker size for front door 95'WRX

Could someone be kind enough to tell me what size and type of speaker fit the front doors of a 1995 WRX because I would like to upgrade these from the original ones.
Also, because I have never taken off the door panels myself; what is the best method of doing this please... maybe I can take them off prior to buying a new set and taking a sneak preview for what is in store...
