Default WRX Wagon speaker upgrade.

Hi!

I'm looking at upgrading my speakers in my WRX wagon, does anyone know what size the door speakers are front and back?

Thanks =)

5.25"

The speakers (although cheap) are not the weakest part of the set up. The standard HU is hopeless. Make sure you change that before spending money on the speakers. 6.5" speakers will fit in the front with a little fettling. Installation is key - otherwise you are just wasting money. Personally wouldn't bother with the rears. Also not really worth spend a lot on speakers is not using dedicated amps.

I think that the rears are also 5.25" but possibly even smaller. Would have to check. If you are using an amp, just do the front speakers and disconnect the rear. You won't need them and they'll just ruin the soundstage.

Cheers guys! I can't remember the exact model number but it's JVC screen with 55w outputs. I think I will updated the rears aswell but I will make some adapter and sound proof it all!
