Will these fit a Bugeye and are there likely to be any issues with fit with the Hybrid FMIC pipe under the engine?

As far as we are aware there should be no fitting problems on the BugEye models however I cannot say for sure whether this will be affected by a Hybrid FMIC pipe. I will look into this for you and let you know either way.

Thats correct. These are a direct replacement for their plastic standard counterparts.

You should be able to use your standard fittings to fit these plates as they are a direct replacement for the original items.

I will get a postage cost to Ireland and reply to you here later on today.

Thanks iain

Hi Iain,

As discussed by pm this will not aid cooling. For cooling an oil cooler would be the best buy, This is a direct replacement for the plastic item and you should be able to fit this with your tubular headers no problem.

Thanks for the reply, I have an oil cooler fitted but my temps are still higher than those who have removed the undertray, I do not want to run without one and was wondering if your item aided cooling by default (rather than being designed to aid cooling) by its design it might allow more air to get through compared to the oe tray? (If that makes sense)

hence why I'm also interested to see one fitted, happy to be a guinea pig if you'll do me a good price

gt spec headers sit lower than the subframe does so i had to put washers between subframe and undercover to create a gap big enough for headers not to rub off the undercover!!!

Sorry to bump an old thread but was just wondering if these will fit a 2006 Hawkeye STI Type UK? Just had new headers fitted and they touch the factory plastic under tray so had to leave it off for now. Need some sort of skip plate that will fit with aftermarket headers.

Cheers.
