very interested but was just wondering how does the car bias the breaks? is it thru the abs block? will I need a bias valve aswell to set up the brakes?

As a stock car with abs yes its the module that does the bias, id always recommend fitting a bias valve although i have supplied many kits without bias valve with good feedback. It will also depend what the car is used for, track car i would say fit one, road car..maybe not.

I can supply bias valves with the kits from Wilwood, Tilton or AP Racing.

Hope this helps.

mogs132 12 March 2016 05:48 PM

ok how much for the main kit with a bias valve? which valve would you recommend?

We can supply bias valves from Wilwood, Tilton and AP Racing..prices are as follows:

Wilwood knob type £53
Tilton lever type £95
AP knob type £145
AP lever type £180

We always recommend the tilton lever type valves.

Philturbo1 15 March 2016 03:16 PM

Im not been stupid but ive got a uk 97 turbo can the cars stock bias valve still be used with this kit?

Pro-Line Motorsport 15 March 2016 05:38 PM

Hi Phil, pretty sure its only the non abs cars that have a factory bias valve as its the abs module that does the biasing.

But yes, a stock non abs bias valve can be used as long as we are aware upon making your order.

Bare in mind its not adjustable though.

Regards.

Mitch fitted my ABS delete and did a fantastic job! :thumb:

I may come back for a bias valve tho mate I think I'd like one to play with ;)

Philturbo1 16 March 2016 11:15 AM

Is a bias valve recommended or even needed on a road car. If I don't have a bias valve is the split 50/50 or am I not understanding the bias thing right.

Laupy 16 March 2016 02:17 PM

Is the brake system on a wagon different? I'm sure I saw a bias valve mounted near the strut tower on mine... Would like to dump my ABS but would also like to keey my bias valve if I have one.

Unless someone has fitted one, itll be a connector block to rear brakes, alot of people get confused and assume its a bias, looks similar to the non abs items which are a proportion/bias valve.

As said, i can supply bias valves from as little as £50! Adjustable too..
