Default Subaru Specific Catch Cans '2'

After the success of the first group buy I thought I would offer it again.

See thread no.1 https://www.scoobynet.com/group-buys...atch-cans.html

I have recently had a catch can made for for track car build. I had done the same previously for my race car as the general market forgets about us Subaru boys needing 3 inlets rather than just 1 or 2. I am sure you have seen the RCM ones at £175+ !

It's certainly not cheap to get one made to the standard I wanted, however I was chatting with my supplier and he said he would be more than happy to do a batch at reduced costs if I would handle everything.

So spec is a 1 litre can with three 10mm inlets and one 25mm outlet. And a drain plug

We all know what the benefits are I am sure by getting rid of engine vapour, reducing crankcase pressure and by removing that vapour your not reducing the octane value of your fuel.

Heres a few pics of the one I have now unfitted.

Here's a pic of my other one I fitted on the passenger side suspension turret where it fits very neatly

Here's the fitting guide -

Pipes on cam cover breathers -

Main engine breather here, you will see 2 pipes. Really you want to block off one and then run a pipe from here to the can

Three pipes in to the can

Then breather pipe from top of the can

Costs if there is demand for 10 minimum

£65 Can only
£75 Can with -10 AN Drain
£10 extra to include pipework

Get your names down with what you want

Excuse me if this is obvious Mad Hammer, but did you remove the canister from your engine bay, and is that why this fits so nicely? I don't think my engine bay has so much space.

Air con canister thing ? Not had one on either of mine as no air con Still on a serious note there is plenty of room down there as you can see.

Not baffled no, I have no pic of one fitted with air con, but there is room. Perhaps there maybe someone who has fitted with aircon on here ?

I have one of each and the one from the group buy is a million times better in quality, like the age old saying goes "you get what you pay for"
