custom Oil catch can
Hi guys, as some of you will know i was going to make one of these as i had been asked by a couple of people about one. Here is one ive made today,Its 1L and Has the 3 10mm ports on the top and 1 25mm breather behind them. Also on this one it has a -8 fitting for return back to the sump but if someone wants one without this that can be sorted. It will come with a wrap around bracket so the can can be fixed anywhere. Would have taken a pic of the bracket but i forgot to bring it home.
Would be looking at £25 posted without the an fitting or £28 with the an fitting. cheers, ellis

Mate that looks spot on....i must say i'm not actually a fan of the wrap around bracket and actually wonder if it would be better to be like a flat back plate or maybe you could weld some sort of stub which would allow multi fitment i.e. secure at the base and the side.

Hello mate, ive tried to find alloy nipples in the past and not had much luck so would be a job. What i do have tho is alloy nuts that i could weld to the bottom with a bolt in that could just be unbolted to drain. Any good to you?

LOL would be rude not too wouldnt it mate
Ok buddy just let me know when you decide. Im guessing the advantge is that the oil returns straight to the sump and doesnt have to be emptyed out.

Looks good mate, glad I paid 100 quid for mine last year!!
U can get caps to go on the drain off's. That way if u want to go return to sump in the future u can
Still waiting for the rain to stop to get my pipes mocked up,

Yes mate i can do that not a problem for you, would be 10mm the same as the top pipes. Would you like a wrap around bracket on it or do you want a flat one welding on the back. Cheers, ellis

Indeed a bonus......i have modded a few in the past where i have taken the inlets and extended them inside the tank to the bottom, have also seen a internal wall formation.......Then add some S/S wire wool and presto you have a advanced can allowing the seperation of oil/soot/air to the top....
