Carl Davey Odessey PC680 battery tray

Tray machined from Acetal. The holes around the rim of the tray are for a retaining bungee cord and associated hook. The pictures shows the countersunk M8 bolt and dowels required to positively locate the tray.
Specifically designed to fit the n/s chassis leg of classic scoobs, moving the weight back without too much hassle
As usual excellent quality from Carl, as previous customers will already know..!
Final price TBC (largly depends on amount of interest)..
Note: that although designed for the classic it should be easily adaptable for the newage cars..

I am currently having an alloy battery holder made for this battery which will hold the battery securely and will be ideal for sitting on the LH chasis leg.
The holder looks like this one.
Varley red top battery tray
This type of tray lined with a little foam and mounted on the chasis leg will be more secure than the one posted above. Many scrutineers would not be totally happy with the battery attached with bungees.
I have nothing to gain here just showing the route I am going.
