The RS intercooler looks far larger than the GT. In fact both have the same core height and length but because the RS is 25mm thicker the end tanks are that much bigger and therefore the RS completely fills the apperture on the front of the WRX whereas with the GT you can see a space down each side which is not necessarily a bad thing.
As the GT is quite capable of handling well over 500 bhp I am not sure that the RS is necessary in performance terms but it certainly looks different because it completely fills the apperture.

KIPS/Adrian now has several photographs of the FMIC being fitted and photographs of the FMIC after fitment on 2 separate cars so if you ask him via e-mail he can forward these photos to you.
When the previous group buy went sour which was about 2 months ago I only got involved as I wanted to help out the Scoobynet members who had been let down. As this was two or two and a half months ago, I am prepared to honour my agreement as outlined above by Kips but unless the group buy is sorted by the end of July then the arrangement has to be cancelled.
Regards,

Harvey.

The GT Spec is tube and fin and lighter than the RS spec bar and plate.
the RS spec is about 20mm thicker core so the end tanks are a little bigger and it fits the apperture at the front of the Classic fully while the GT Spec leaves a little gap on either side.
Both are capable of a lot more than 500bhp.
If you are going for looks then the RS is for you but if you want good performance for minimal weight then the GT Spec is quite satisfactory.
