Dont think they need Top Mounts but then I may be wrong !? If you check out the other recent Group Buy for these https://www.scoobynet.com/group-buys...gx-shocks.html you may find out there. Everyone who has bought these in previous Group Buys always seem very pleased with them !

The Group Buy is up and running now. As soon as there are 5 Confirmed names on the list to purchase Full sets, you simply ring Nathan on No. given on here, place your order with Payment details and they will be Posted soon after.

Regarding 2004 WRX Model you would have to ring Nathan and ask.

Cheers

If I don't get in on the AST group buy, I'll be in on this.

The problem I have is what springs can I get for my classic STI? It seems the Eibach ones aren't designed for the STIs. I want some fairly stiff springs, but I don't know what options are available.

I'd be interested in this, but i'm going out of the country soon for a few months. It would be for a classic. What I would like to know is, do eibach do standard size springs. I do not want the car lowered at all.

Whatever happens to this group buy, I'll be buying these very shortly. I need to move quickly because my shocks are knackered.

Those of you who aren't sure of fitment or posting abroad, I'd suggest you phone Nathan and ask. Details at the top of the thread.

Doggy, the website link provided by Duracell says they have the full range available so you'd best ring and find out.

I highly recommend these adjustable shocks, I have them on a MY00 with Eibach springs.

Being able to change the stiffness is great, you can really notice the difference between soft and hard.

Wow, just thought I'd check back and we have 5 buyers!

Has anyone spoken to Nathan yet? I've a suspicion the pricing quoted by Duracell is not for the adjustable dampers, but normal ones. I say that because I was shopping around for these dampers and the 2 other places I found these sold at quoted 580 and 485, i.e. way more than quoted above. I can't see Duracell managed to get THAT much off the normal price.

I've tried sending a PM to duracell but he's not responded yet, which is a worry because we need him, unless someone else joins in.

I'm going to phone Nathan on Monday and will report on here on Monday evening. Let's hope everything's okay.

In the meantime, please sign up if you want these dampers. We must have a minimum of 5 people.

I phoned up for a price for the non-adjustable ones on friday and they are £227.

The prices you got just show how much some companies make on some products they sell.

The prices are spot on, I bought a set of adjustables on the last group buy for my Classic. I also fitted Eibach springs, solid drop links and adjustable top mounts. I cant recomend them enough, I have the fronts set on 3 and the rears on 6, I may try 4 and 8. The ride now is well damped, less bouncy and very direct.

Don't worry, it's all sorted now!

It would seem Nathan was not aware there is group buy organised. It was news to him when you phoned!

However, I phoned him middle of the afternoon and explained that Duracell had set up a group buy on SNET some while ago, but got no response, but that we now had 5 people ready to part with cash for the adjustable units, at the prices quoted on this thread, and he is happy to go ahead.

I have given him my details. He needs all of you to contact him asap to give your name, address, car model, payment details and email address.

Once he has everyone, he will email us all and proceed.

Welcome to the GB Ravenhill. That makes 6 of us.

David
