Talking KYB AGX shcoks

*****************Updated Again*****************
This GB will close on end of Monday 25th Sept assuming we have enough signed up for 5 full sets

Hi,

I am in need of new dampers. There have been 2 GBs done before I think.
Anyone else need some as well as me so we can get a discount?

Default Go for it!

I definitely recommend the AGXs!!

On my MY99 UK wagon I went from KYB OEMs & standard springs to:

KYB AGXs set to 2 front & 4 rear (may try 3 & 5 next)
Eibachs
Whiteline adjustable rear ARB set to middle hole & solid droplinks
Full geom setup at Powerstation

and the difference is amazing!

The car fells much more planted, corners about 10mph faster with no roll, and the back end doesn't wobble like it used to going back over raised white lines after overtaking.

fulla organised the last GB on AGXs at buypartsby - I paid £332.81 delivered for a full set

There's probably still a group buy on the whiteline kit & Eibachs at Demon Tweaks - Dave Featherstone's the man! 01978 663042

Ok Have phoned them today and these are the details- very similar to the last group buy:

Minimum of 5 sets to qualify as a group buy.
Details of the KYB AGX and who the group buy is with:http://www.buypartsby.co.uk/kyb_agx_shock_absorbers.php
Contact is Nathan on 0800 027 6525

Prices

Classic:

Full set for £332.81 delivered inc vat. Saving of about £48
front = £68.06 +vat +del each
rear= £70.81 +vat +del each

Newage (MY00 to MY02):

Full set for £466.91 delivered inc vat. Saving of about £58

Do a search for kyb agx and there's plenty of good stuff written. Most people seem more than happy with them

Need to phone the guy and leave payment details. When he gets enough for 5 full sets then they get ordered and the payment taken for them.

So only 1.5 sets more needed.
I need these real soon so will leave this until 25/09/06 to see if this gets filled. If not I shall have to go get some anyway.

Anymore for anymore?

Dont give up on this group buy geddon, we only need one more guy so may as well hold on as long as we can.

May be worth poaching someone off the wanted or private for sale sections,

The KYB AGX are way better than the standard set up, for a start they are adjustable both front and rear in terms of hardness, not sure on how many settings they have, think its around 8 ranging from soft to hard depending on your requimnets and driving conditions, they are also better made than standards so will last longer and according to what everyone else thinks for the money you cant buy better, do a search and im 99% sure you wont find a bad report from anyone using them.
