Default ****BR DEVELOPMENTS TEK3 Custom Engine Remap ****

I have been in touch with Branko at BR Developments and I have been authorised to organise a Tek3 remap group buy.
The remap will take place in either Richmond or Swindon. They can only be done on Saturdays and they will commence some time late August and extend into September/October depending on the size of the group once closed.

Standard BRD pricing:
Tek 3 £650 + vat

We need a minimum of 15 people for this group buy and then these prices will apply:

Group buy
Tek 3 £550 + vat
3 Port Solenoid = £150 inc vat and fitting (big saving – retail well over £200 inc VAT)

If the group grows beyond 20 people, the price will come down to £500+VAT for the TEK3 package.

Please note that this group buy will close on 31st May 2005 @ 22.00 hours and once this has happened the thread will be locked and no further applications for the group will be considered. This will give you guys approx a week to have a think about it

All questions re this group buy must be sent to me by e mail or private message. Most questions will probably be answered by doing a search in the forum archives.

Only members who have no previous TEK work on their cars done, qualify for this group. Those who already may have TEK1, TEK2 or TEK3 provided by another company cannot take part within the group, but should contact BR Developments directly if they would like to upgrade to their TEK3 package in order to benefit from specific upgrade pricing that already exists.

When you have signed up for the group buy I will need your detailed car specification including what fuel grade and brand you are running and what engine oil is being used. Once the group has been finalised (closed), all group members will need to pay a deposit of £300 towards the full group buy price of the package in order to be given firm dates for their visit. BR Developments will create the initial schedule and allocate dates for all group members. Once the group buy has been closed direct communication between group members and BR Developments to finalise the booking dates, locations, etc. can take place rather than with me as the group organiser.

TEK3 package can be applied to all Impreza and Forester turbo engines from MY99 onwards. Please look through forum archives and you will see that Bob Rawle and BR Developments have a very good reputation. I myself will be having my car remapped within this group as well.

Could all interested people please e-mail me (frankandreas3@hotmail.com) the following information:
- Name
- Address, e-mail & contact number
- car details (model, spec & current mods)
- have you got a knock link and boost gauge?
- what fuel and engine oil you are using

Branko seems to think that he can booking mapping sessions in August and September and will be on a Sat. These guys are that busy and to be honest, are spot on! Ive had alot of people looking at the map on my motec and I know once I have had it remapped, Ill be popping down to Bob to see what he thinks.

Bob maps for RCM - say no more!

Look forward to hearing from you all

Would they offer similar discounts on other bits e.g exhaust parts etc? I am interested in going the whole way and don't want to go the PPP route as I think 3rd party solution will be cheaper.

Any chance of nudging them down on price/numbers? I see the 'other' GB is 10 people for £500?

There's a very good reason for the long lead times with BRD - their reputation means people are williing to wait 2-3 months for a proper job. That says a lot about the quality of their work. To top it all off, Bob Rawle is also a very helpful bloke. Nice to do business with people like him.

I 'just' got in on the last BRD GB and due to go down 11th June, can't wait..!

Anyone from that last GB had theirs done yet..?

Jason

PS the wait gives you time to plan and fit any other mods prior to mapping..!

If I went for this map with BR, After paying for the first map, ie main one, If at a later date I sold the car and the new owner added more mods >> improvements >> Would the new owner be able to just get the allready mapped ecu tweaked (cheapish) or pay for the FULL map >> Again ???? cheers, Alan.

I recently signed up as part of a TEK3 groupbuy with Scoobynet.

The date reserved for me is June 4th 2005 9.30am at Bob's Richmond site.

I am unable to attend due to my car not being ready, so this date is open to anyone who wants a TEK3 remap by Bob Rawle. Priced as per group buy £550+vat

Contact me via PM if interested.

I could well be interested in this GB. I've got a de-cat DP and Walboro Fuel Pump sat in the garage waiting to be fitted and mapped up. Just haven't had the spare cash lately, this looks like a great deal if we can get the numbers up...

Any chance of showing a listing so we can see what numbers we are up to and hence the projected cost of the GB?

Thanks,

Ed

Sorry for the late reply guys, have been a mad week.

I have replied to all emails sent. So far list is:

1. Barry
2. Mike Newiss - depending on engine news
3. James palmer

Ill work down the replies above now:

Trashamn - Branko wanted 15. If we do fall short by the 31st, I shall contact him with numbers and he can decide if he wants to go ahead with it.

Jacey Boy - you can remap no problems with your std fuel pump but I would recommend upgrading beforehand - might as well
