Hello, I used to use these forums until the Manc theft collective finaly worked out how to bypas my WRX immobiliser....

Friend of mine is now living in Japan part time and mentioned he can get hold of "used" Legacy engines with all ancilliaries at "a good price". I haven't spoken to him since 'cos I don't know if anyone would be interested. So if anybody has a specific request let me know and I'll find out, for shipping costs etc I suppose this will have to be a group buy.

If anyones interested I'll get all the detailed info off him.

He has contacts in Japan and is trying to get around the complex trading ettiquette-- has also mentioned gauges etc so let me know if you want anything in particular.

I'll be in on the gauges etc buys cos he's getting me a scoob, I live in the country now so it'll be less likely to be nicked!

 

YEah always up for a cheap engine as a spare, has he got any of the 2.2 blocks they are the same as on the 22b aren't they ?

 

last time I spoke to him he mentioned 280 bhp and 2 litre, so he might mean the twin turbo boxer things, the problem has been that the luddite doesn't use email (?) Will mention 2.2 units to him.
I've just got his phone number so I'll get him to confirm exactly what's on offer and at what price asap. Obviously everything comes down to price so this could be a waste of time but it's worth a try eh?

 

A cheap supply of EJ22T's would be good if he could find them
