uprated fans and motors...? (for i/c)
Im running TMIC (99) and after doing a tilt/split on it I reckon there is room to get a fan/motor under there.
why, you may ask?
because if it is manually operable it could be used to draw air through the i/c when forward speed isnt available.
ie. sat on the start line or in traffic.
Demon tweeks sell Pacet fans from 8" up to 12 or 14" and they start at £71 + the dreaded VAT. This is for the kit and includes the fan, motor, mounts, sloenoids and switches and everything needed.
They also just sell the fan itself which I think starts at £64 + VAT.
This is the first supplier I have looked at, so if you have any ideas who may be cheaper still then It'd be usefull to know.
Adding this mechanism to a i/c waterspray and/or W/injection would surely make the inlet temps drop considerably.
