My WRX Classic idles fine, but when driving and dipping the clutch or knocking into neutral the revs will drop really low and cut out or it will just about manage to pick back up to idle speed.

im guessing it is a leak of some sort somewhere?

it does have some forge dump valve on that can be recirc or blow off, could this be the cause?

I had that problem with my car, a 05 JDM STI. It was fitted with a non recirc dump valve when I bought it and mapped to suit . I changed to the standard recirc and it was sorted. Steve.
