So many other parameters and how the engine runs effect it. It needs setting up with a wideband.

Often the numbers in the fuel table wont match the actual afr. If yours did match then its way to rich on boost.

no that's not what I am saying at all..

the fuel table is meaningless in isolation, all you can tell is that the ecu is injecting more fuel on boost than off.. there are numerous other ecu settings that effect it and every engines different.. it can only be checked with a wideband.

if its been setup with a wideband then whats the issue? your clearly thinking there is something wrong?

Think im with you bud, so if in the table for example it says 8 at full boost the actual AFR on the wideband might actually read 9 or 10 ?

Hopefully 11 something but yes.

Its nice housekeeping to try and make them match but not always possible, especially if mafless on esl.

As i have an aftermarket downpipe on my 95 wrx, my original 02 sensor is in the downpipe, just after the turbo, im looking to fit my wideband 02 sensor in the original location of the 95 wrx which is in the headers, no need to weld a bung then, will this location be o.k ? since it was o.k for the original ?

cheers
