Default head bolts and re-use

after swapping a short block over and adding all the bits and bobs with new fluids and filters and so on and new gaskets, is it ok to re-use the head bolts? from the old set up or is it a must to buy and use a brand new head bolt kit?
yes I know there the old why would you re-use anything when buying everything else new and so on but worth asking as I have read loads of people doing it?

I'm pretty sure they're not stretch bolts and it'd be ok to re-use them, but for the sake of 40 quid or so I'd stick some new ones on it. Peace of mind then.

I re-used mine but they are 11mm ARP, I'd fork out for a decent set if it were me, always nice to be able to put it in the write up come sale time that you've used quality kit, inspires confidence.
