Question What is this bracket/tube for on my 2002 WRX??

I'm changing the sparkplugs on my car this morning and found this bracket attached to the offside rear coil pack. it's an empty tube/pipe that you might see cables running through or maybe attached to something as a drain... It wasn't attached to anything when I took the airbox off, so just wondered if anyone can shed any light on it... I've had a quick look at the bottom of the airbox and can't see any outlets

It was fastened to the coil pack here...

Thanks,
Mark

It's O2 sensor cable bracket that goes to exhaust manifold - cable should be in blue color - is missing in your case or is not attached
Hope this help

That makes sense, thank you. It looks like the O2 sensor (or just the cable) has been replaced at some time and the bracket hasn't been used.

Thanks again
