Default Restrictor pill ?

Right I've order new pipe to do vac/turbo lines

What's this restrictor pill thing? I have a v2 sti all standard does this perish after time ? Is there any upgrades I can change it to ? And where the hell is it!

as you look at your 3 port bcs the bottom pipe will have a small copper pill inside the pipe...you should be able to feel it...this pill restricts the size of the bore of the pipe making it smaller inside...I believe yours should have 2mm port hole...

Is it not 1.2mm? With wrx having 0.9mm

Thanks for that jay ! So when I replace my vac lines I need to put this back in, or I will over boost ?

yes you need to put it back in. also make sure the new vacuum lines are the same inner diameter & good quality

you will over boost huge!! I had wrong pill in mine(two small) so drilled mine out to correct size.. but I did take pipe off and drive it....and boost went mental..
