Default ~400bhp?

Was planning putting a 3" turbo back exhaust on my '06 blob ppp and having it mapped but had a wee re think.

I'm not after 400bhp+ or i won't be happy. Just putting down a rough figure where i think i'd be happy. Ie; i'd be happyer with 380bhp that was nice to drive than 420 that was too laggy if you know what i mean?

At the moment the car is a stock(ish) uk sti ppp, green panel air filter and pff7 just fitted when serviced. Car has 47k on it.

I'm planning a Nur Spec R cat back (chop the end off and fit a 3" flange) and a 3" down pipe. First question, what downpipe to get?

Secondly what turbo would i need?

I assume that my tmic will be up to the job?

Will i need a 3 port boost solenoid too?

Can anyone suggest anything else to add to the list?

I'm going to put a new fuel pump in as well just for peace of mind.

i'd speak to a tuner as an all in price mate, right combinaton of parts will give a much better result than pick this and that and the other

I'd plan to fit all or most of the bits myself.
I'm planning having Andy Forrest remap the car and he's arround 150miles away plus afaik he just does mapping?

Mandy florists website has some good tuning information available, I'm sure a quick read will get you all the info you need.

For a cheap turbo you can't beat an 18g

Agreed, get a 16g and swap the compressor cover and wheel for an 18g one, less than £250 all in
