Oil smell
Hi all
My oil is smelling really badly of fuel, I've done some research on here and most have said that it is most likely worn rings, - the oil itself is fine - its not black or any strange colour - just smells of fuel. There's no smoke or any running issues either, and it did smell like its running extremely rich after it was mapped, so maybe its overfuelling?
My question is can I still drive the car? My guess is that I can't/shouldn't until its been looked at - I'm going to book the mapper back in to take another look and see if its running ok that end. Think im going to have to change the oil myself I think unless I can get it towed
Any ideas on what the best course of action is?
I have money set aside incase it needs any major work done, but fingers crossed its something simple (doubt it but gotta have hope..)
