Rear main oil seal + clutch
Hi all
Quick question;
I am having the rear main oil seal replaced as its leaking slightly, and have been told that its a Gearbox off job. I was also recommended to change the Clutch while they have the box off - which makes sense obviously, however the clutch was replaced (exedy pink box + lightened flywheel) approx. 12k miles ago in 2012.
I know there's really no way of telling until they have the clutch off, but do you think I should just get it done anyway? (peace of mind etc)
any help/advice greatly appreciated

If it only done 12k on clutch then I would'nt bother IMO, it maybe the oil vabour/seperator plate that is leaking, which may need re-sealing this is also behind flywheel, so maybe worth doing why you there.
