Hi everyone, keep seeing people with TGV delete mods?

What is this and how are they beneficial?

Look at your inlet manifold, Inbetween the actual manifold and engine block there are additional bits bolted Inbetween these are where the TGV's are, I think they help with emissions but not 100%, They become restrictive with more power.

I've asked this question to Simon JGM ( ECU mapper ) and he said that TGV are for emission control at start up

Having them delete you have to have engine remap , and will gain bit of power but mostly torque

Hope this help

Hi Jamie

Yes is worth to do on yours if you are looking for running above 400bhp,yes some guys have run TGV at 400bhp without the issue, but still I would do TGV delete

Its not TGV blanking plate, you can yours port and remove flaps from TGV,if you are good with tools then is easy to do so,if not you can buy them, think Cosworth and other companies selling them

Hope this helps

Thanks,Jura

Tumble gyroscopic valve
As Jura says , if your upping for bigger power with less restrictions, it's a worthwhile mod to do
