Default another bov question

sorry for all the boring stupid questions guys
I have mapping with andy forrest start of march and I need to get this sorted asap
I have emailed him asking and he has replied, but I don't understand some of it, lol I don't want to keep annoying him he is a busy guy

my question:
okay mate see you then, im sorry to be a pest, but I have a few other questions
1: I have fell out with my hks bov, can I just use the stock recirc valve? or do I need an aftermarket 1? remember I have a fmic but I could get an adaptor welded on for the stock bov

his answer:
>>> You would ideally need an aftermarket one as it needs to get rid of the air externally from the large volume of FMIC and pipework, otherwise it kicks back through the maf. This is not an issue with the std intercooler. Std bov is too soft and vents on cruise.

now im guessing this means I need a vent to atmosphere dump valve?
if so my problem is I have an hks ssqv and hate the noise (too loud) so whats the quitest one that vta? obv a brand name and good quality, I don't want ebay special

I have seen some that you can adjust, but what do u actually adjust?

Mine, a forged 2.5 litre with HS TD05 20g and Hybrid GT2 FMIC uses a forge recirculating d/v with no ill effects.

Designed by the late, great Harvey Smith, built to his specs by Darren at DLM, and mapped by the great Bob Rawle.
