First question is why do you want to do it? Does it NEED done? Who says so?

The problem with skimming heads, especially on a turbo car is that you will increase the compression ratio, unless you source and use thicker gaskets.

Increase the cr too much, it'll go bang, trust me.

Regrind limit 0.3mm.

From the above figures, I make it 127.2mm.

You repeat that on your build "I'll need to reface them".
But you don't say why?

Because I always get a reface when doing head gaskets with aluminum heads due to warping I don't want any problems so I want to do it properly first time.cheers

OK............

But unless you go for the thicker gaskets, you are buying trouble.

Why not just have them checked for flat?
