Hi I was wondering if I'm allowed to tow a classic on a trailer with a newage wrx 2004. I have towing on my licence so that's not a problem but I'm worried that the weight of the trailer and the classic is more than the curb weight of the newage. It would be a brakes trailer. Thanks.

 

No, the car weighs too much never mind the weight of the trailer. Iirc the MTPLM of a newage is no more than 1500kg max.

 

The classic is stripped out but the trailer will probably be about 300 kg.

I don't even think the wrx mtplm is even as high as 1500kg the sti "might" be your wrx will be less.

 

With a braked trailer 1000kg and with a unbraked trailer 500kg

 

My blob towed half a classic just fine but not sure on a full one lol
