Default bench dyno and run in

been doing some research in to dyno and run in of a new engine .being told to map it and run it in on a bench dyno why is it

Because they have seen your driving and want it to run in before it ends up in the bushes or a ditch lol

Who's told you that baloney
It's all well and good if you're Prodrive or Red Bull or McLaren but just not practical for most Subaru owners.

i'd wanna it mapped in situe with corect setup, exhaust etc etc. but i can see some benefits of running it in that way, much more control of how its loaded etc. but does seem way ott for a road car

i dont understand it as well .because they dont use your exhaust or intercooler .
