FMIC fitting has to be the most frustrating jobs I've ever done on my classic. Anyone can do it but not everyone can make a neat job of it.
Measure twice/thrice and cut once. You can do a lot of damage with a grinder and Dremel.

Just looked at the FMIC thread above, looks a right pain in the **** and more involved than I first thought! Like said making a neat job is the key, lots of mistakes to make!

You could contact DLM at Darlington http://uk.local.yahoo.com/County_Dur...7-e-17940.html.
Darren is a great bloke with loads of experience. He used to do the mechanical work for the late, great Harvey smith, and does a fixed price instal for FMIC's, and makes a very neat job.

Worth a trip up there.

Ok I'm stuck so far I've just about managed to fit the first pipe, and ready for the cutting hole for second pipe but my abs is in the way and I can't move it, I checked the guide and funnily enough his abs just isn't there???
