Default How to remove boot...

Hi..Swapping boot over to a different one tomorrow on my v5 STI...Anyone got any advice? How hard is it?

really? you need advice on this? you take the bolts out, you lift the boot off. you put the new boot in place, you put the bolts in. its easier with a friend

edit: i suppose i should point out the obvious fact that the boot supports will move once you lift the boot off them

If the new boot is used, try and line up the marks where the hinges fit before tightening all the bolts. Once fitted, check the shutlines and that it locks/unlocks properly.

You may need to slack off the bolts again to allow you to adjust the fit.

And if it's fitted with a brake light, undo the connector by the hinge.
