Default Turbo Copper Washers

Hi All,

I'm swapping my TD04 out soon for a FE TD05 16G, I'm collecting everything before I start, so I've got new exhaust gaskets, studs, nuts etc etc.

I think the oil feed washer is M10 at the turbo end and where it connects to the block is M12, but does anyone know the thickness? Is it 1.5mm?

Cheers,

I've heard that they're likely to leak? They're also dirt cheap to buy so I'd rather have the piece of mind knowing they're new.

Just need to know the thickness so I can get some ordered.

I never anealed my turbo washers and ive had them on and off twice now, no leaks.
Id say more like .8-1mm thick if your that set on changing them, but 1.5mm would do, it wouldnt matter one bit.
