Default Prosport afr gauge

Was thinking about getting one of these for my car just for peice of mind!
However after watching videos of these on YouTube I'm unsure as they seem to read all over the place...

Any advise on these from someone who has one or has had one on a previous car? Is the gauge suppose to be reading like that?

It's to do with being Narrow Band, the better and best would be a Wideband AFR. Granted they come with a larger price tag but the tell you so much more. I was going to get one fo the above but decided to hold off until I can get a WideBand

Hi there

Personally I would go with Wideband AFR gauge something like is Innovate or AEM,PLX and may others

Those Narrowband AFR read only when car goes rich or lean,no like Wideband which reads middle and is more accurate

I wouldn't be too unhappy with the Prosport, it's giving a good steady reading at full throttle which is what really matters, then reads off the lean scale when the injectors close down at 'throttle off' which is what I get with my AEM wideband, it's just not reading in the middle when cruising but as said above, wideband would be a first choice.
