MOT done, advised High Emmisions............
On my 95 WRX, He passed it as he is a sound bloke but said this year the emmisions are very high, the only change this year is the remap, so is it a mapping issue or is it the lambda at fault that now its been remapped it cant do what it needs to ?
ive fitted since last mot
440 injectors
higher flowing fuel pump
later spec map sensor
later spec newage coils
as its been mapped would of thought emmisions would still be o.k ?????
cheers guys

I actually just laughed to my self then after reading that again. Sorry about that. Makes me sound like a right bitch.
But no it was a genuine question. When i took my old rs turbo to get its MOT done last year he heard me pull up , i was just rolling not boosting and first thing he said was it might fail on the exhaust for being to loud !
Its on this site someone mentioned that the car has to be at manifactors Db level to pass ???
But they dont have Db readers so could never figure out how that works

An exhaust in a class 4 motor can even be blowing and still pass the mot

Never had a car fail for an exhaust.. there are good places
My mot bloke rallys so don't. if it's a bit of scaffold pipe it will pass
Like before they can comment but no reason for failure.... unless there are new rules..
