Hi all,

My cars off to Extreme Scoobies for a few bits in a couple of weeks, and I'm going to have some Whiteline poly steering rack bushes fitted as the reviews I've seen have been pretty positive.

Question is, do I need 25 or 30mm? The car is a 97' UK turbo, from what I gather there isn't a exact rule for what cars have which size, if this is the case which is the easiest way to double check?

Measure them it's easy They're quite accessible by just crawling underneath IIRC 97's were 25 but don't quote me on that. They chopped and changed as my 95 is 30 as is my 02

 

I bought 25mm from Alyn at as, slim chance they will be 30mm mate

Lol, more chance they will be 30mm than 25 as most early cars are 30mm as are newages but they did change for a few incarnations. Sods law yours will be a 25 if you went for the KSR202 kit

 

Yea worth checking I think!! Extreme are going to order the bushes once I tell them the size, so at least I don't have to worry about that bit lol. Looking forward to see if I notice much difference

 

Speak to Alyn at as, I'm sure he sold me 25mm. If its the other way round, apologies.
