Hi hope somebody can help I have a tdo5 turbo with decat full stainless exhaust ,air filter, fmic,Esl daughter board this has been a build project for me so don't drive much but when I do it's generally quite hard driving when I'm slowing down I hear a whine noise which sounds to me like a supercharger or maybe tight turbo bearings I recently changed the oil and filter for millers 5/30 for winter and a crap oil filter as it was a Sunday and couldn't get a decent one. I always warm the car up and let it cool down. I'm just puzzled as car boosts fine and pulls strong in all gears I have been reading on here but a lot of turbo whine seems to be whilst accelerating although mine only does it after a real thrashing and goes within 1 minute, can still boost it and is fine when hammer it comes back again I'm wondering if it's got a restriction of oil to the turbo on high revs and not getting enough lubrication. Any help or ideas would be great full cheers guys also could anyone say a good oil filter.
