Default Changing to front entry turbo

Hi
Im in the process of changing my 1995 wrx to front entry turbo.
I have a AFP TD05 20g and also bought a new inlet pipe along with some manifold spacers.
My problem is i went to test fit ti all last week and it seems the V1 inlet is to small to cope with front entry turbo's.
Do i need to repace the std fuel lines under the inlet for braided ones to allow for more room?
Any help would be great
Thanks

He's used the elbows to convert the VF to 90 degree entry.

Where is your problem exactly? The inlet pipe?

How big are your spacers, and which inlet pipe did you buy?

90 degree silicone joint from the front of your turbo and come up behind the inlet will be easier than modifying your fuel lines, bit of ali pipe (90 degree) and then your away, im running mafless so it was simple for me just straight through pipe with one port for ICV prior to reaching the filter.

The inlet pipe is an eclipse one and I think I have 10mm spacers, didn't know if there were any performance issues with the 90 degree bend set up, this may be the best solution for me then, don't really want to rip the fuel lines out if I don't have too.

No performance issues for me

Not exactly running high boost though (1.3 bar), I would be a bit wary of the silicone joint collapsing under high boost.

What set up you going for?

Turbo, injectors, tmi etc???

If your 20G has a cast compressor wheel you should be good for 380 maybe a bit closer to 400bhp imo, billet maybe 400-420ish?? all depends how much boost you running. As far as the 90 degree joint goes you'll just have to give it a shot, I would!

Get your headers ported for a bit extra spool up
