Default Stupid question

Stupid question and i pretty much know the answer but going to ask anyway.
My Turbo will be back at some point, it will be fully rebuilt but the only difference is the hot side exhaust housing will be different as it will now be 7cm instead of 8cm, dont think it will be all back in on time to take to Simon before he has his holiday period and think he is actually having a couple months off.. (pretty sure i read that on his section).. Is this going to be a problem me running the car with this turbo? Until he is back to work?

Not really as long as the exducer and the compressor side are the same size it will provide the same amount of air as before. Only thing you need to do is prime the turbo correctly.

Pretty sure the exducer is the same size, just waiting on confirmation.

What is the correct way to Prime a turbo, all i have done in the past is take the oil restrictor off and poor oil in the turbo and spin the impellor a few times then fill it up again??
