steering rack end remove
Its not easy, so you want to replace the end that goes into the rack itself or the end the goes to the wheel?
To separate you need to drop the rack off the sub frame (4 bolts hold it on) and that should give you enough play to take apart the joints at the top.
I say drop off the sub frame but it doesn't drop it just goes down a few inches to give you enough clearance (where the hydraulic pipes connect in at the bottom stop it from falling through the sub frame)

Hardest part of disconnecting my column from my rack was cleaning the blood up. Lockwired my heatwrap onto my downpipe and sliced my hand open on it when undoing the 12mm(?) bolt which clamps the splines in
Eh? you dont need to drop anything, remove balljoint from outer arm, remove the clip holding the steering rack boot at far end, slid back the boot and you will see a large nut, think its a 24mm, remove the lock tab then remove nut and the inner rod comes out.
quite an easy job.
