Default Forge recirculating DV - worth it?

Fitting standard sti TMIC back on my v8 sti from an aftermarket unit it currently has, wandered wether anyone has any views on these and if it will actually benefit the car

I was advised to fit one by a local specialist,who happened to sell them.When my mapper saw it he said"who's been wasting their money?"

I have 1 on mine pal and i love it it dusnt go off all the time just when driving quite hard therefore not to annying! Totally down to taste alot of people hate them and from personal experience a car will run better without 1.

Yeah would get the recirculating type, so not after the swoosh noise, would purely be as a performance upgrade.
£100+ seems expensive if know one can recommend though,
Was told it would help with the boost!!

Put one on mine years ago, recommended by a VERY trusted mapper.

My oe recirc wasn't holding boost so I was advised by a trusted mapper to get a Forge recirc.

Holds boost a treat now.
