Default newage owners......which fuel pressure regulator

as above, which 1 are you using? i think mine is starting to fail so i will be replacing it

heres some i have seen so far

http://www.advancedautomotives.com/f...uge-2005-p.asp

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Red-High-S...item5d41479748

http://lateralperformance.co.uk/prod...pressure_gauge

now i know the most expensive ones will be the best etc etc but are the cheaper ones any good? or are they not worth bothering with?

+1 Fuelabs. The Ebay one looks like a Fuelabs clone.

If you will keep OE fuel pressure or yours current one,you don't need map tweak, just would recommend at least check

Do you have AFR gauge(Wideband)?

Fuelab is best and we are used now for few years without the single issue,SARD one unsure there, never tried, but few guys from SN tried them(think JonMC running this or will be running this FPR) and yes lots of fakes are out too

Not really there, you will need wideband sensor(preferably with controller like is LC1,AEM UEGO etc),Torque using/reading still OE lambda sensor which is narrowband sensor

FuelLab, SX and the later design Sytec one you've pictured all work well.

Ideally you want to check your AFR's as any change in pressure will result in a change in fuel mixture.

The main issue with many of the cheaper regs is that they don't maintain a stable and consistent pressure.

Make sure you buy a 1:1 rate reg not a 1:1.7 rising rate model.

we always use/supply Fuelab THREE port versions as with most things we do they are "very" competitively priced (a full kit with the correct fittings is probably similiar to some of the bare links above)

we carry either -6 or 8mm tails and various hose options to suit budgets/builds

a rising rate adds a multiplier of fuel (1.7 to 1) so instead of a linear rise as you have std it adds extra fuel to make the car richer for a given pressure

it was a very basic way of getting fuel into cars that cold not be mapped.......

depends what your trying to achieve but around 3BAR at idle (with no vacuum connection)
is a good starting point - this will drop to around 2.4 / 2.5BAR when all fully connected normally
