what boost on a wrx/z4 ecu.
Hi guys had a problem for a while with my boost.I have changed all the vac pipes and now the car is not cutting out after boosting think it was the air pipe that goes to the fuel pressure regulator think that's what its called at the back driverside next to the coil pack.
The pipe was solid and had a split in.what a difference it has made feels so much better to drive now.
Well I was wondering what sort of boost should I be running the car is a 1996 wrx import v2
It has been hitting 9/10 psi all the time have had the car the last 2 years.but the last few months the boost has been up and down so changed the bcs and had cutting out under boost sorted with that split pipe.

K&N induction kit/
Full turbo back blitz ner spec r exhaust/
Forge dump valve/
The bottom pipe off the 3 port boost control has the restrictor pill in bottom hose is there anyother pipes that have the pill in.does the pipe from the 3 port BCS to the turbo housing have a pill in on my car.or is it only the bottom pipe on the BCS that has the pill in.
I was told to fit a z4 ecu to my car so had a look at what was in and some one has fitted a z4 at some point as there is a bolt missing from where it bolts on to car.
I have done loads of searching and carnt find out much please could someone shed some light on what the boost should be at as I was thinking 9/10 psi was about right for a standard wrx ecu but now I have found the car has a z4 in it has me thinking it should be different boost.
