Default fuel pump connector block

under the rear seat drivers side there is a wireing block for the fuel pump , the outher day my car wouldant start again and pump wasant primeing.
took rear seat out and found that the block was hot very hot , unclipped them and it looks fine. but if you wiggle it about the car dies. so put a zip tie round it to see if it would work and did , but my qusetion is why is it getting so hot ? i have another plug so i can re pin it but im guessing it should not get hot

Its getting hot because it doesnt have a good connection. Its common. Cut the plug out and replace with a new good quality connector or solder the wires together and use heat shrink
