Default injector question!

my car is a v3 type r

iv just bought some 850cc injectors originally intended for a 200sx and iv just removed an injector from a spare inlet manifold i have and the injectors are different
]
after a bit of research i think i need a phase 2 injector conversion kit

does this sound right?

injectors i have purchased:-

sard 63507

http://www.300degree.com/hard_parts/fuelrails/faq.shtml

and the injectors i removed from my spare inlet are the same as this:-

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-Cla...item2331032862

will the nissan intended sard ones fit or have i dropped a bollock??? hahaha

and if the sard ones are the same as phase 2 ones is it easier for me to get the collet adapters from lateral performance or anyone else that sells them cheap? or make some but for £40 quid i cannot really be arsed to even bolt the alloy in the lathe and measure everything

cheers

Nissan injectors are phase 2. The electrical connector is also different. The Subaru connector can be adjusted to fit - but I wouldn't fancy the potential destruction if it loosened off. Get some nissan ones
AS performance now make/sell the ex carl davey range of goodies.

my injectors arrived today!

bonus and iv also got my phase 1 to phase 2 conversion kit

my question about the sard 850cc injectors i have though is that on the end they have a yellow plastic shroud...i intially thought this was to protect the end from damage but now i am not so sure

do i have to remove this prior to fitting? i have never seen anything like this on the end before

Did they come with the collars?

Or do you mean the adapter doesn't fit the sard/nissan phase 2 injector?
In which case cdf racing can provide you with billet rails. V1/V2/V3/V4 to take a phase 2 injector.
Or the billet carl davey rails.

I dont have any collars...i could make some but they hardlyseem to pritrude that far from the bottom of the fuel rail or is this the norm when putting phase 2 injectors in a phase 1 rail

Iv sort of been offered some others now so i will be putting these ones up for sale unless anybody on here wants them

The red anodised collars is what i needed and the injectors do protrude slightly further than originally anticipated but i was worried the spray pattern would mean the fuel will be dripping off the manifold

Anyway after a lit of measuring iv determined the collar aize nd spacers needed so im going to machine them up and see how they work

Next stop...purchase a turbo 2.1 fully forged ideas...second hand preferably initially wanted 500brake but i think its a bit optimistic...400 to 450 i think will be more than enough

Cheers
