Default Apexi boost controller yes or no......

Thinking of buying a digital apexi boost controler as i like the look of them on the inside of the car

Seriously would it be worth it on a standard engine???

Ideas please.....

The AVC-R is a very clever piece of kit as part of mapping, certainly on a modified car but a bit of a waste on an otherwise standard set-up.
On a reasonably modified car using the standard ECU the ability to programme higher boost level than normally available via the standard ECU, select in-gear boost targets, switchable boost levels etc can be useful but once set by your mapper, are best left well alone (my experience!)
Money would be better spent on oil pressure/oil temp and maybe a KS-3 knock detection unit.

I have to agree with the above. Waste of money and potentially dangerous to a standard engine and ECU on a standard map.
